My special guest this episode of All About Nashville is Ben Donovan. Ben Donovan is a country singer and songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in Virginia, but never prone to staying in one place too long, Donovan spent his twenties fronting bar-bands all around the Northeast, before finally landing in Nashville in 2017. Since then, he’s been working the honky-tonks and writers’ nights, serving up a stubbornly-traditional brand of country and western music that pairs well with whiskey, lawbreaking, and heartache. He’s shared the stage with Americana acts such as Deer Tick, Caroline Rose, and Johnny Fritz. His debut album “Reverend Ben Donovan and the Congregation” is available on all major steaming platforms.
